CoreStrike 45 (16mm): Control Focused Paddle / Tony Rollo

This paddle has a very interesting feel from the first few swings. The blend of materials gives it a firm response without being harsh.

The Kevlar surface grips the ball well. I like how it lets me shape shots with more spin and keep placement tighter.

The 45 degree carbon layering gives stability even when contact is off center. For me, that adds confidence to take harder swings without worrying about losing control.

The core absorbs vibration smoothly. EVA foam with the honeycomb keeps the feel consistent across the face of the paddle.

Power transfer comes through cleanly. The thermoformed one piece structure makes the paddle feel solid in the hand.

The edge guard adds protection without making it feel clunky. It balances well during quick volleys.

Good performance overall, and I can see where I can work on techniques that take advantage of the extra control this paddle provides. It feels like a tool that encourages better play.
