CoreStrike 45 (16mm): Really impressed after a month / R & T

I've had this paddle for about a month now and have played maybe 10 times with it. I'm not super serious about pickleball - just play with friends and family on weekends - but this paddle has definitely made the game more fun.

What I love about it:
The first thing I noticed was how much easier it is to control the ball. My old paddle I got on the cheap at a local store... it was more of a glorified ping pong paddle, and I really had no control over my shots. With this KASCA paddle, I actually feel like I know where the ball is going (most of the time).

It's got a really nice weight to it without being too heavy. It feels totally comfortable even during longer games. The grip on this paddle is incredible. It may be one of my favorite things. It's been holding up quite well, with just a few scrape marks on the edge guard.

The honeycomb core helps give the ball a nice "pop" off your paddle. It makes you realize the difference between a lower end paddle and a higher end paddle. There is a "pop" vs a thud. The surface of the paddle is a carbon fiber, which feels like raw fiberglass (is the best was to say it for me). It helps you get spin and top spin. It's really pretty incredible the spin you can create.

Bottom line:
If you're on the fence about upgrading from a basic paddle, I'd say go for it. Even as a casual player, the difference is noticeable right away. My shots feel more solid, and I'm actually starting to develop some decent spin on my serves, which barely happened with my old paddle. I think it's worth the money if you play regularly and want to enjoy the game more.
